Having worked together for over a decade we decided to collaborate our visions to create a beautiful setting where our guests can relax and feel pampered.
Collectively with nearly 40 years of experience, you can be assured you and your hair are in expert hands.
We use only the best quality products, so you can maintain the salon quality look and feel at home as well.
Aiden Horwood - Director
Starting out in Bondi Beach, Aiden moved to Melbourne in 2007. He has been pursuing his passion for the industry for over 20 years, time he has spent hunting and gathering a wide range of techniques from precision to free hand cutting.
Aiden is a Nationally and Internationally awarded and published artist with 5 International magazine covers, and having been a finalist for Mens Hairdresser of the year 3 times.
He has worked on over 100 fashion shows around the globe including NYFW which Aiden describes at the NBA finals of the catwalk.
He has been on stage with some of the biggest names in the industry and represented the biggest brands on the planet.
Education is a key factor in what drives Aiden, both educating himself, and passing that knowledge on to others.
He has been an ambassador and trainer for numerous companies, for everything from cutting and styling to hair extensions, educating some of the top salons in Melbourne and Australia.
Now with a focus on getting back into the salon, and starting a family, his passion for people and making them look and feel amazing is what is driving him forward.
Fotini Simitzis - Director
Having worked in high-end salons in Melbourne for over 20 years, Fotini is a colouring master.
On exploring for new opportunities without limitation, Fotini partnered with Aiden to create Your Hair Republic.
As the Creative Director, Fotini has a passion for everything colour and creating beautiful tones for her clients. Her inspiration comes from her love of hair and fashion, and shines through in the consistently high quality work she produces.
Fotini has been mentored by the best and will custom design a formula that will compliment your natural colour, or create an entirely new look for you.
Fotini has previously showcased her talent in various competitions and successfully won awards with her vast knowledge of colour.
As the salon colour educator Fotini enjoys nurturing the next generation and seeing them grow and evolve.
As styles are continually evolving so is Fotini, with the latest techniques and technology to give our guests the best possible outcome.
She provides an all round outstanding service to her clients, and will guide you on how best to maintain and care for your colour between appointments.
